Hidden Meadows Equine Rescue

MISSION STATEMENT

Hidden Meadows equine Rescue is committed to helping abused, neglected, starved  and/or  ababoned horses.  In addition, we strive to:

  • Provide rescue and rehabilitation services to horses in need;
  • Provide sanctuary and retraining for off the track Thoroughbreds (OTTB's), Premarin and slaughter bound horses;
  • Provide adoption services, with preference to pony clubbers, 4-Hers and therapeutic agencies;  
  • Assist local law and animal agencies;
  • Educate the public about care, feeding and humane training of horses; and,
  • Provide necessary resources for unwanted horses.

HMER is a 501(c)3 organization, and all donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

ADOPTIONS

Our adoption program provides for rehabilitated horses to be adopted into new loving homes.

Some horses are not sound enough to be ridden and can only be adopted as companion animals.

Potential adopters will be screened and will undergo training to ensure a successful partnership.
