She arrived today 1/19/2010,  She arrived around 11:00am. She has a foaling tear, lame on her rear right leg, her shoes have grown into her front feet, and she could use a little weight, but, otherwise she is as sweet as pie. She let us groom her all over but was very worried when I tried to look at her vulva.

1/22/2010: Vet placed her on antibiotics due to her foaling tear. She is to re-examined on 1/29/2010

Sir Jackie

Sir Jackie was saved from slaughter on January 26, 2009.

Jackie came in with significantly overgrown feet, thin, and in obvious pain in his front ankles.

Jackie is on Legend for his arthritis. Jackie is enjoying his turnout with the other horses and even enjoys the occasional romping and bucking.

Jackie has been rehabbing and putting on weight.

Jackie will be going to a retirement facility in Florida in September.
